LAST UPDATED 02 NOV 2026Liaison asks for one thing, your email address, and uses it for one thing: sending you the newsletter you asked for. This page says exactly what is stored, where, for how long, and how to get it removed.

What we store
- Your email address.
- Whether you have confirmed it, and the dates you signed up and confirmed.
- Which version of the signup wording you agreed to, so we can show what you consented to.
- A one-time confirmation code, stored only as a hash, which expires after 48 hours.
We do not store your IP address, your browser details or your location. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising on this site or in the emails.
Why, and on what basis
To send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form and confirm by clicking the link we email you. Nothing is sent before you confirm, apart from that one confirmation email. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
How long
- An address that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
- A confirmed address is kept until you unsubscribe.
- When you unsubscribe, your address is deleted from the list straight away. Encrypted backups roll over, so it is gone from those within 30 days.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site, runs the signup form's backend and stores the list (database located in Western Europe), and runs the anti-bot check on the form. To stop abuse, Cloudflare processes the connecting IP address while the form is submitted; we do not receive or keep it. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- IONOS sends the emails from studio@liaison.vision.
- An encrypted backup of the list is kept on a server we operate ourselves, in France.
We never sell, rent or share the list with anyone else.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it checks for bots.
Your rights

You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or the authority in the country where you live.
